COST, INSURANCE, AND PAYMENT METHODS
Rates for Individual and Couple Therapy
The cost for a one-hour therapy session with Licensed Professional Counselor, Kate Early, is $140. If Kate has space in her schedule, and together you agree that it would be helpful to continue beyond the hour, rates will be prorated per quarter hour. For more information regarding fees, check the FAQ page.
Rates for Group Therapy
The cost per group therapy session is $50. For example, if you sign up for an infertility group that runs 10 weeks, the total cost would be $500. The first group session is always a trial week, so if you decide the group is not a good fit for you, you do not have to register or pay any further fees. If you do decide to join the group, you would have to pay for all 10 weeks even if you have to miss a week or two because you are reserving your spot in the group and space is limited to 6 to 8 group members.
Kate Early is a contracted in-network provider for Aetna and United health insurance. If you are an Aetna or United member and would like to use your health insurance to cover the sessions, be sure to first investigate:
Prior authorization requirements
Your copay responsibility
Number of sessions allowance
Percentage covered by insurance
***Should you choose to use your health insurance benefits, a DSM-V mental health diagnosis is required to receive coverage for sessions. Please be aware that once this diagnosis is processed by the insurance company, it will then become a permanent part of your health record and may affect future health and life insurance coverage. Thus, some clients may decide to pay out of pocket to ensure their privacy.
If you do not show up for your appointment or call
with 24 hours advanced notice to cancel or reschedule,
you will have to pay the full cost of the session.
