COST, INSURANCE, AND PAYMENT METHODS

Rates for Individual and Couple Therapy

The cost for a 55-minute therapy session is $160.  If I have space in my schedule, and together we agree that it would be helpful to continue beyond the hour, rates will be prorated per quarter hour. For more information regarding fees, check the FAQ page.

I reserve reduced rate slots for BIPOC clients because I value making therapy accessible to all. If you identify as BIPOC and want to pursue IFS therapy, but need a reduced rate in order to do so, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask through my contact page.

Insurance Information

I am not an in-network provider with any insurance companies. If you have out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide you with a super-bill which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of benefits. Insurance companies do require that you meet criteria for a mental health diagnosis in order to cover the services. I would be able to assess this in the first session and inform you if you meet criteria.

“Kate has been the only therapist successful in helping the intellectual, skeptical parts of me relax enough to do some of the deeper work I've always wanted to do in therapy. She is gentle, attuned, and wonderfully articulate. Her compassion always feels genuine.”

“Working with Kate is like being able to take a full, deep, cleansing breath. Her kind presence and thoughtful questions have helped me work through so much and have helped me move to a more confident and less anxious place in my life.”

“Kate asks pointed questions without probing, and provides thoughtful commentary without condescension or judgement. She can go deep quickly without being intrusive. And importantly, she is always well-calibrated to the emotional temperature, keeping the dialogue light when appropriate while handling heavier topics with poise and compassion.”
